WW1 U-Boat Trip on Medway Estuary

Download as iCal file

Sunday 22 July 2012, 12:00 - 16:00

Start from Hoo Marina at 12:00hrs. High tide is at 15:47hrs so our latest return will be 7pm. The round trip can be done in 2 and a half hours but there is much to explore so allow longer.

Refreshments at the cafe and toilets available at Hoo Marina.

Paddle is approximately an 8 mile round trip. We shall return to Hoo Marina.

Limited parking at the Marina so please car share if possible.

I have a 3 person Open Canoe and 2 suitable Kayaks at the marina that can be borrowed on the day on a first come first serve basis.

If you wish to attend this trip then please email Alan Nevard at:   alannevard@hoocanoe.com

I look forward to seeing you there.

Please note: all our trips are run by club members like you, and unless specifically described otherwise are peer paddles.  If you think that you would benefit from the support of a formal river leader or coach, please contact the trip organiser in advance - we can usually arrange something!  Otherwise you should be confident that your own ability matches the trip as planned.

Location Medway Estuary from Hoo Marina
