If you've done your Explore Award and are mostly paddling your kayak on flat water, it's time to expand your horizons!  The Touring Award will add skills and knowledge to your toolbox, and encourage you to explore other rivers, lakes and estuaries.  

In the words of British Canoeing, it will "endorse your skill, judgment and decision making required to have a successful day on a river or estuary. You will be confident in planning and undertaking journeys with proficient skills to be in control throughout. Your award should be seen as a sound basis for building the experience and knowledge associated with the Open Water Touring Award holders."

Final location and meeting points to be confirmed nearer the time but may include Oare Marshes, Bewl Water, Swale, etc.
