On Sunday 21st June, there is a demo day at the club from 10am to 12pm. Kent Canoes will be bringing a range of boats for everyone to try. It is a great oportunity to test a shiny, new boat! We all "need" one!

For those of you wanting to practice rolling, or even just capsizing and getting out of your boat safely, in warm, clean water, there is the pool session at 8pm on Saturday 20th June. You will need to clean a boat and transport it to the pool.

On Sunday 28th June, Lee has organised a rescue workshop for those of you who would like to practice your rescue skills. The river is quite warm at the moment so it is a good time to get wet!

On the weekend of 27/28th June, Bill Norman is looking for club members to help with safety cover and manning a stall promoting the club at the Leeds Castle triathlon. It is a great opportunity to paddle in a most unusual location! Please contact him if you are able to help on either day, even if it is just for a few hours.

Finally, our regular club paddle will continue to take place every Sunday morning and Wednesday evening. If you want to have a go in a racing kayak, pop down on a Friday evening. It is great fun!
