Invicta Rowing Club have organised a race this Sunday (1st October), and consequently we're going to re-locate our regular paddle up to Yalding. Meet at the Club at 9:30am to arrange transport, etc. - see you there!
We've unexpectedly had two spaces open up on the intensive 1-day beginner course on September 23rd - please sign up fast, once they're gone, they're gone!
Newsletter errata: the Cuckmere Tidal Tour & Exe Weekend are, of course, in October - not September as in the newsletter. Apologies!
Are you a regular Sunday morning paddler? Do you like to potter to the Malta Inn for a relaxing Sunday morning paddle? If so you could be the person we are looking for.
We have a number of younger paddlers, who are all more than capable of paddling, but need some one or two to make sure they are safe and aware while on the water. We have a number of members who already volunteer to look after the youngsters and we would like more to lighten the load.
It would require you to sign in the youngsters and take their membership card and parental contact details, make sure they are safe while on the water and then return them and their card to their designated parent or carer after the paddle.
It will mean that you have to wait with the young people when you are off the water, but all the parents / carers know they should be picked up at noon. If you are interested please contact email@example.com
Hope to see you on the water!
... the Autumn Newsletter! A huge "thank-you" to everyone that chipped in this time - it's bigger and better than ever!

Some silliness at Lee Valley over the weekend - enjoy!
William Bligh, infamously-brutal captain of the HMS Bounty, was born this day in 1754. Captain your very own boat at the pool session tomorrow - mutiny optional!
