Hampton Court Trip  - Sunday 8th November

As in previous years the plan is to launch from Ditton Reach (TQ 16742 67121   N51°23.4'  W0°19.4') paddle up to Hampton Court and have drink/snack. Paddle under bridge up to the sluices at East Moseley and then back via a stop at a riverside pub. Total distance about 3.5 miles but we could add another 2 miles by going past get out point up to Kingston Bridge, see how we feel. On in all weather conditions except high winds.

Enough people have expressed interest so trip is definitely on, if weather is ok. Meet at the club at 9:00am for car sharing, parking at the get in is a bit limited so try to share if possible. If you go straight to get in we aim to be on the water around 10:30 and off at about 3:00pm., depending on how long we spend in pub. I will be going direct to get in from home but will post a note on the club site home page on Saturday if trip is cancelled due to weather conditions.
