Saturday ~ Studland to Old Harry - near perfect sea conditions to view the sea stacks then in the afternoon around Sandbanks to see where all the rich people live.
Sunday ~ Whether not so good with strong winds forecast so rather than go on the open sea we paddled from Hanworthy Park in Poole Harbour to Wareham up the River Frome. With the incoming tide and the wind on our backs we made good time and stopped for our sandwiches and some sausages and chips, thanks Richard, outside the Old Granary Pub.
The paddle back was a bit testing into a strong wind so some wisely went back to Wareham leaving three of us to paddle back to the cars. Again we made good time with a strong tidal flow and got there before Keith who took a taxi from Wareham. A good weekend paddle, pity about the weather.
