Rather a gray day but no significant rain. When we arrived there were a lot of rowers
on the river and we were informed by several people that the Thames was closed between
Hampton Court Bridge and Kingston Bridge which is the stretch we normally paddle.
We decided to go anyway and keep to the edge, luckily the rowers kept out of our way
but we did get shouted at a few times.
