We'll be having our annual Christmas Party at the Clubhouse again this year, on Saturday December 9th from 7:30pm. Tickets are just a fiver, which is frankly the best deal you'll get this festive season! Canapes and Christmas-themed decor provided; please bring your own drinks.
Tickets are now available here - also available on the door, but please do book in advance if you can so we've got some idea of numbers!
Some silliness at Lee Valley over the weekend - enjoy!
William Bligh, infamously-brutal captain of the HMS Bounty, was born this day in 1754. Captain your very own boat at the pool session tomorrow - mutiny optional!
A couple of photos from the Tips & Tricks paddle on our SUPs last night!
The lazy days of summer are almost over: lying on the beach, eating sandy sandwiches and drinking full-fat Coke from a glass bottle. Sadly, all that sunbathing hasn't done anything for our fitness, and with the supermarkets already stocking up with Christmas food, there's only a short window in which to get a bit fitter! Why not come down to the Club one Friday night (6pm) and come out for a session with the racing team? It's fun, friendly, open to everyone, and you don't have to be a marathon runner to get involved - there are people of all ages and abilities there, and tuition is available if you want it. No need to book - just drop in!
Junior Paddlers, and particularly parents of junior paddlers: please remember your cards when you come to the Club. If you're not on the water supervising your child (16 or under) then you must give the card to one of our Responsible Paddlers. They will not be able to paddle with us otherwise. Please speak to our Welfare Officer, Catherine, in case of any queries.
